Fort Pierce, Florida

Brad applied to an Ag school in Fort Pierce, Florida a few months ago! Basically, you go to the school and they teach you how to fly a crop duster rather than a regular plane {and be safe about it!}. Our plans changed at the last minute and we went from a trip planned for 4-5 days to one for 9-10 days!! We ended up renting a car and driving a good bit on Monday {Halloween}. I had to work that day so we headed out as soon as I got finished at work and got changed. We drove from Corinth to Dothan, AL and stopped for the night then drove the rest of the way on Tuesday. We did make one pit stop in Daytona Beach though :) From November 1st- 8th, Brad was busy with classes and practices and learning and studying! But we did find time to visit the beach twice, eat at a few local joints, do some shopping and enjoy our time off! Wednesday, November 9th was his "test" and he passed with "flying colors" :) Haha! We loaded up the little rental car and headed North! Our plans were to stop 1/2 way and rest for the night since it was 4pm when we left the Outlet Malls, but Brad decided last minute to drive through the night. Talk about TOUGH!! Let's just say the ole broken butt bone wasn't too happy about this little decision!!

I'll spare the other details for now and leave you with a few lot of pictures!

Remember the captain that was kidnapped off the coast of Somalia? This is what they took him in! More on this later.

Ginormous crab!

Brad is the tiny speck-- this was right at daylight!

My present for myself ;)
I'll be back next week with more. Being off work for two weeks is great, but then you come back to two weeks of work waiting on you! BLAH!
