Whew! This has been a busy weekend. Friday, after work, I got my hair done (woohoo!). Doesn't every girl just love getting their hair done? Afterwards, I waited for Brad to get home from work-- he works way too much during the summer. We tried out a friend's new restaurant and had some great steaks.
Saturday, Brad flew down to Starkville to help his brother move. Our friend, Chad, flew down with him so I'm sure they had a great time! After cleaning the house, I met my mom in town to spend some time with her. She's been working in Oxford lately so I don't get to see her as much as I used to.
Sunday morning, Brad helped our friend Kenny move cows. Every year they move, vaccinate, tag, and separate the moma cows and the calves. Also, Brad gets injured every year! This year he was lucky enough to not get hurt. I went to church and then went grocery shopping. When I got home we started work on our 2nd bedroom. It's still a work in progress, but we'll get it finished one day! Brad's back in the air again. He met a friend of his in town to drive somewhere in AL to take off. I think they're going to fly up around Reelfoot Lake (?) He should be back around 7pm or so! We're having enchiladas for supper.
I'll leave you with a picture of our puppy, Amos---

As soon as I hit the "publish" button an old friend drove up! We haven't seen Levi in a while- he got a job rebuilding beaches and he's living in New Orleans right now. He was kind enough to bring a Cajun Cookbook for Brad. They have been close friends since Jr High and they lived together for about two years. Levi knows Brad likes to cook and thought this was perfect for him. I know the book will come in handy during our next crawfish boil! Levi and I got to visit for hours before Brad made it home about 8:30. He even stayed over last night~ it was great seeing him, but it made for a late night. I've been dragging today!
